So I am not sure how many people have heard about the new IVS Portals but basically they are a magnet cleaner and magnifying glass in one. They let you look at your corals and fish in a whole new way!
Here are some links about them:

Anyway I would like to set up a group buy for these to save on shipping. There is already a discount code to get 20% off and if we all order together we can save a lot on shipping. Also I will see if maybe they can do something about the tax if we get enough orders.
Anyway let me know if you are interested. I plan to make the order in a week or two. I can bring them to the meeting in March or you guys can pick them up from my place.
Thanks and happy reefing!
Here is some more info I gathered about the Portals:
The 20" and 30" focal models of the Portal both have interchangeable lenses (for the 4" models). So if you have the 30" one now you can get the lens kit later for the 20" and likewise if you have the 20" now you can get the 30" lens kit. So everyone is covered.
The difference between the two focal lengths is that the 20" is designed to have a clear image up to 20" where as the 30" one has a clear image up to 30". However the 30" one does not magnify as much as the 20" one which is due to having a longer focal range. But both models are optically clear from 0". This means that they work like glasses instead of a magnifying glass in that they allow you to see everything within it's range clear and focused.
If you want to see corals that are up to 20" away you probably want the 20" model where as if you need to see corals up to 30" away you'll want the 30" model. Their basic recommendation was that a 20" tank should have a 20" Portal and a 30" tank should have a 30" model.
