My red hornet frag has all but melted to nothing - nitrates 5-10, Phosphates 0 after adding gfo reactor and carbon two weeks ago. They had been happy prior to adding the reactor - all other corals are doing better since the reactor - more fully open/expanded, maybe more colorful. Other zoas are doing fine. The cauliflower leather right next to the red hornet frag has grown and is within 1-2cm of the hornets. Any ideas? Hate to lose the hornets.

Sometimes. Coral just dies..... Reefs die all the time. Best bet would be to try again.
If zoas begin to close up you can always try a fresh water dip in Coral RX.

Yup... I have had zoas just melt. Doing great and bam. Dead. You can also try dipping them in a lugols solution as well.
